Thanks to everybody for getting checks quickly to me. It has been helpful and makes this project a lot more comfortable when most of the money is there to cover a project that has grown more than I expected.
Hardman is stopping by the shop tomorrow to give them the down payment to get started and the final count. I have 28 shafts tagged and/or paid for. I am going to take a risk myself and round it up to 30 shafts.
This quantity has helped us make this project a priority for the shop for sure. We are already starting to talk to them about another new idea pending how this works out. The next project might be a "budget" friendly planetary similar to what was done before but not to that extent or cost. I won't claim it would be as good but the target price is $300 -vs- $1200+. This will be AFTER these shafts are done though for sure.
If your email on syty does not match your email you read all the time send me a PM/email with the email and user name here on the board.
When the shafts are ready myself or Jeremy will be sending you a confirmation email on the ship address. Jeremy is doing the shipping duties on these (as I suck at shipping stuff timely, as well as probably other things). Him or myself will send an email when they are ready to confirm the ship address. We don't want any of these things lost in transit.

Jeff i was interested in one of these shafts but i dont understand something. I already have a fully built GB 4l80e with a billet output shaft in my ty. Dont you need a 32 spline output shaft for the 80e as well. Buying just this t case wont work with a 4l80e unless you swap shafts in the the trans as well. Is this right??? Where do we get the 32 spline billet shaft for the trans.

Not sure who told you that you had a billet output shaft, as I have never seen anyone supply or make one (except for the 1 handmade one in my trans). They just don't exist as far as I know and have researched.
Now billet input shaft for trans they do make and is suggested on most HP builds.
Maybe I am wrong, if I am I have a few people that would buy a billet output shaft for the 4l80e.
Yes you will need to use a 4x4 32 spline output shaft for a 80e which is slightly larger than the 27 spline that was cut down, replined. A bit larger diameter is where the strength is in the output shaft. I have seen a few shafts twist some, mine actually broke in my ty, some guys are running around just fine with no issues.

Another Update. Hardman stopped by yesterday to the shop to check on things. They should have the test fit shaft done tomorrow, early next week at the latest.
We have already talked to the shop about future project or 2 we have in mind also as they are very interested in doing batches of special parts for us. So thats a good thing. Next up will maybe be a planatary idea I have in my head that should be in the $300 mark also. Not as extreme as the one done before, but much better than a stocker also.

This is something I have 2 sources for if we want to do a GP for them. let me get the dust settled on shafts first.
