I did one...though mine holds my display LCD for the boost controller. I'll eventually put either a gauge or the alky controls on the other side one day. I thought about doing another version where I cut out the cig lighter area and just fill the entire panel area with a CF delete panel.

I'd buy a non ac heater box form ya as long as I didn't have to cut my arm and leg off and UPS it to you.

I would be interested in one as long as the price is resonable and where the valve covers are that is more shallow. I have to hammer mine in for my swap.

Re: Would a carbon fiber non-ac box be popular ?

Over the years there have been alot of talks about cf hoods , tailgates , fenders ,door pods ,middle consoles, etc , etc .

That list of stuff I will be building for my own vehicles . There will be no waiting on money for molds and production from outside sources , Im just moving forward with my own parts . Hopefully there will be no hard feelings come time for me to sell extra parts out of my molds once ive completed my own items first .There will be new pics and threads about each new item , this really was just me feeling you guys out .

Thank you

Do you think some of theis stuff will actually be made or will it be just thought about. People have been waiting on a hood for a long time. But nothing. Bedsides will be a pita and how will they be connected to the bed since the bed is tac welded. Unless if you use double sided tape. LOL. Cowl would be nice until you have to take the wipers off and crack it or scratch the hell out of it. Just my 2 cents.

You take your wipers off with a crowbar? When made properly, your not going to crack CF unless you have some serious weight or tension on it to crack it. Back when I made some prototype CF cladding, we stood on it and bounced up and down. Other than the rash from scrubbing on the ground, the piece was fine.

Now scratching yes...that could happen...but that could happen to the stock metal piece on everyones truck now.

They would attach just like off-road bedsides, the mold is a little wider on the top than the original, and has a lip that comes down. You drill out your spot welds or cut the original bed side leaving a lip, and bolt through the bedside to the bed where the spot welds are.
