I have a couple of these moneymachines, I mean sport machines. Only one driveable right now, sy engine sitting at my shop awaiting reassembly/time/money, my lil sogt I just picked up should hit the road soon I've got most of the big stuff wrong with it fixed.

There's a handful. Back in 2001 we had like 6 SyTys meet for a big cruise on HWY 100. I've got a friend Adam from Milwaukee who is heavy into SyTys; he's got a 4 bolt Vortec heads Syclone. Kevin G. has both a Sy and a Ty; I think he is selling or sold the Sy. There's a couple other guys in the area that don't really mingle much on this board. Dameon "HiFiTy" had a Garnet/Gray Typhoon in the Milwaukee area. There's Matt with Syclone 2956 (I think) in Green Bay that I've hung out with. Also a great guy from Manitowoc with a huge garage, with a 25k mile stock Sy, and his brother has a <2000 mi Sy. I wish I could remember his name.

Hey Sleepy, are you the guy I met in the staging lanes at GLD with the blue 2WD Blazer with Typhoon motor? If so - that thing hauls ASS now!! It looked like 11s? I saw it at one of the RSDs this year (I think) and I couldn't believe how hard it came out of the hole. That can't possibly still be 2WD can it? It launched like an AWD. How fast is it?? And what do you all have done? I tried finding you later that night but didn't have any luck.

I have a sy and live in eau claire, I've been a member of syty for 7-8 years but when they changed the forum I lost everything username password, so I don't post much anymore. The guy that owns sport motors here has a 3,000 mile sy and I've seen a black open downpipe typhoon cruising the Baldwin, Riverfalls area. I know about 8 people with buick gns that give me s#it constantly. We should have a cruise or something or maybe meet somewhere. I live about 5 miles from rockfalls raceway, and 1 mile from shooters strip club. My 2 favorite hangouts so If any one is ever in the Eau Claire area let me know.

yes, that's me in the 2wd blue blazer. It is still 2wd - best time so far is 11.83. Engine is surprisingly stock, with the exception of some strengthening. It was almost as fast before with stock rotating assembly, but it finally broke. It has 422 cam, 4 bolt, pistons & rods, L35s with stainless valves and a 20g turbo. Built trans and converter, nothing too special in the trans, just beefed up. ET street radials too. I have been having an electrical issue ( I think it's the ultimate chip) that has been causing it to run weird finally got real bad and now it will hardly run. Time to work on it again...
