Ok, enough about Se-r's, Else I will start talking about my cavalier. Mo one wants to be bored with that.

Yes the bellvue cruisers started to only have the meets the first Saturday of the month. They said they were tired of giving up every weekend to put it on. They got just enough help to moved to The first Saturday. I go to that one alot actually. There was an older man there once with a Syclone. I have seen Joe there once or twice. I have a friend with a Syclone who would be down for coming to a cruise in there I am sure.

The guy I met with the Typhoon for sale was from the manchester area, he also has a friend with a syclone. I suppose one weekend I will just Hang out in the area in the Ty and see if I can spot another Sy or Ty and then chase them down, lol. There are a few trucks around, just so hard to find interested owners. There is a white Ty downtown nashville (Jimmy might know the guy), I have seen a black one over at Oprymills, Dad seen one in Winchester, a guy in franklin i think used to have 2 of them back when there was just a mailing list.

I am down for anytime, I will call in sick when it comes down to a local car meet, especially sy/ty related.

I second that suggestion BUT it might not be till the summer months so let's all plan to meet the first Satutrday in April at Bellevue. Who could potentially make it?

So it is looking like Bellvue April 1rst? Sounds good. We can go to Jonathans sports bar afterwards or beforehand. If I don't make it back to check the forums, Joe had better give me a call. :)

So was this decided then? April 1st? Not this Saturday but next Saturday? Lemme know and I will get the time off work. I am working 6 days this week because the boss is out of town, so I believe that I should atleast be able to get that night off. Maybe work until noon or so since I will already be up here in this area.

As for the meet that someone mentioned in Franklin, is that the one that they have at BackYard Burgers on Saturdays? I was wondering if they still do that one because the field across from there has now been taken over by a Walgreens. They may still use the parking lot at KMart though, but I am not too sure. A group of Sy's/Ty's down there would probably definately make an impression, because I have never seen one there (used to go every weekend about 2 years ago). Its usually the same old vehicles down there anyways.

Anyways, let me know if this is still a go, and what time everyone is meeting up and where. Since Joe and Jimmy are on the north side of the city, I would assume they'd want to meet up somewhere up near Metrocenter maybe? Or everyone just show up at their leisure at the event. (I think it would be more impressive though for the trucks to show up together, but what do I know.)

Lemme know guys. Either email me or call me in case I don't see this thread.

I dont know if I'll be able to make it on Apr.1st. My friend is getting kicked out of the house he is renting and I have to help him move. It sucks! The people that own the house sold it and he doesnt even know where he is moving yet. Its one of those cash deals so there isnt a lease so he is just screwed. I guess I can be there if I get done in time.:dunno:

Nobody ever committed firm to the first saturday in April so who can commit to the first saturday in May? I and Jimmy will be there for sure. This provides plenty of time to plan to be there for you folks, especially for those that plan to drive 2-300 miles, like Jon. What's the verdict?

OK....Lets finally plan something! How about we get together maybe do some wrenching and throw some burgers on the grill. We can use my garage and grill and I'll even buy the burgers. What do you guys think about the beginning of August? So Jimmy has time to get his Ty back out of the shop.

BTW...I met another local owner yesterday and his Sy needs some help. Its Sy #1626 and he bought it new. He lives in Gallatin...very close to me.

Sounds like a plan,but I think you should get about 10 racks of those barbequed ribs out of KC.

Just give me a call. I will get ahold of my friend with the 18k mile syclone. It needs a basic tune up. I still need a heater core.

Cool! What weekend is best for you guys? I was thinking either the 5th or the 12th. It doesn’t need to be too late in August or we may unexpectedly have to move it to the labor and delivery dept. of Hendersonville hospital. :rotf:

Keep me informed and I will try to make the trip down there and drag some of the local idiots with me. The # of RUNNING trucks up here is actually increasing for once.
