What's average mileage for Syclones?

74k on mine. 134k on my hawk. I'm not afraid to drive em. Hell, I can't be- it's 92 miles round trip to work every day. Besides, you could die tomorrow with a pristine, low-mile syty collecting dust in your garage. What fun would that have been?

over 200k on my sy.
valve covers never been off oem motor.
every other fucking thing on teh entire truck has been replaced/upgraded, however.
i now have more in it then it cost new, and that's at my speedshop cost on parts/labor!

I've put 20,000 on my Sy in two years. I'm now at 87,000. I don't regret one mile. It is just too damn fun to drive. Besides the body is all beat to hell and I don't mind leaving it in a parking lot or driving in the snow. Someday I'll repaint it.

I bought my Sy with 36600 miles on it in June 2000. Now it has almost 83000 miles. I used to worry about racking up miles on it. But screw that! I have no intentions of selling it and am going to enjoy it to the fullest. This thing is soooo much fun to drive I can't let it sit, even in the snow! I would like to buy another low mileage Sy to save so that I can have one to drive if this one ever dies!

Bought mine with 68k and it now has ~76k.. Yeah, I know.. I dont drive it much like I should but its always undergoing some kinda home brewed mod that Ive thought up so it stays up on jack stands in the garage a lot (ms myclone calls it the "hover craft" since the tires always sit ~12" off the garage floor  ).

Im a firm believer in enjoying the things I have so when the weather is nice and its not "hovering" in the garage Im out looking for unsuspecting victoms or getting hauled to the track.

Just bought my Syclone in January with 9200 miles. now has 9800 miles from the drive home..Hopefully the weather will get MUCH better so I can put more miles on it, might hurt when it hits 10,000 but I guess I'll be ok.

I bought mine March 3, 2001, with just under 77k. I should roll over 135k in the next few weeks. Most of my repairs have been standard high-mile S-truck stuff too. The tranny is probably the most SyTy-related, but even that was just the forward sprag... Never had any problems with the engine or turbo...

My Ty had 137,000 "uneasy" miles on it when purchased. Other than cosmetic the running gear was pretty good. Since I have had it put a CV shaft on the R/S a good bath and other miner things. I love driving it so much it's hard not to drive it. I have got 139,000 on it now and just got in January. But, if I drive it to work it is a 80 mile round trip.

99k on the Ty, It had 68k on it when I got it back in October of 1998. Heck, it's my daily driver, but I still only manage about 7500 miles per year on it....more when I have to commute to the track.

I figure, it's not low mileage, so I might as well enjoy it while I can...you never know what's gonna happen.

Two quotes to put thing in perspective:

LIFE'S UNCERTAIN, EAT DESSERT FIRST!

DON'T TAKE LIFE SO SERIOUSLY, IT'S NOT PERMANENT!

bought the sy in august 95' with 43,000 miles on it. Now it has 96,000 on it an it has sat in the garage since summer of 98', put 50,??? miles on it in about 3yrs.

theres 2 ways to look at it, it's nice to go home drop off the daily beater and get the nice ride for a cruise or your nice ride is your daily beater as in my case back then!!
now that i have the money to get it fixed and plenty other cars to drive it will be the other way(going home and getting the sy you punks)
the only time i think they should not be drove or kept pristine is if they have super low miles, completely original, no wrecks,etc.etc.
it would be nice to drive one of those kind every once in a while because it would be like driving a new one back when they came out.
