Sadly, my Sy just turned 57K original miles :( Just wondering if this is about right for other Sy's out there or more on the higher/lower side? I almost hate driving it now so I can keep it under 60K.

My Sy is right around 75K. I feel the same as you about driving it. This winter, it sat on Jack stands getting 0 miles. :)

Life is beter at 25 PSI
I've got 122,000 on my '92 Ty. It's my daily driver, and I figure PAS made the vehicles to be driven, why not drive it? If something gets worn out, it can be fixed.

Bought it new in March '92 with 239 miles. Now it has 10,600+/-. I can't wait to put some more miles on it when the roads clear up. :D

33,700 miles here. These trucks were not made to sit. They are never gonna be worth a ton of money. Do yourself a favor and DRIVE IT!!!! You know you want to. :p You cant take it with you when you die, so why leave it for your kids to destroy!?!

If memory serves there is around 96,000 on mine. It's been awhile since I've actually sat in it, damn this winters been a long one. :-?

I plan to take it well past 100,000 this summer.

Of course mine isn't exactly "bone stock original " :D

to get this into the proper perspective to answer this question...

I have to ask one question.

Shouldnt this be: How many miles per which part replaced? :D

I kinda disagree, one day these trucks will be worth money. It is only a matter of tiime. With all the people smashing and beating the hell out of it, there are very few trucks left. I know you can't take it with so you should enjoy it a little.

I have 47K on my Syclone, bought it with 42k. I don't care how many miles I put on my syclone, I don't plan on seling it for a long while...

By the end of today, I will have close to 161k on the Typhoon, I bought it with 159k, while I am selling this very soon high miles is still high miles.
I wouldn't worry too much about hitting 60k, your practically there.

Syclone #380 has 55K on the odometer. I do plan on driving the Sy to work on nice days during the summer (10 miles away) and since the strip is 15 miles away, the mileage will be kept down. It just looks like the day I do drive it, I'll just get to my destination faster :)

Ed - Must have been some Bay Area Sy/Ty folks then huh? Small world, I guess  Some good points were made in here about putting miles on the trucks. 99% of motor vehicles are just going to depreciate and are probably the worst investment a person could make.

Another point that was made is any of us could die tomorrow....so why treat our trucks like trailer queens? That said, I will continue to drive the Sy weekly and will probably put at least 5K miles on it per year, but it will be bittersweet :-?

I bought my sy in florida and it had like 66,800 miles on it so driving it home and it was close to 68k. I was constantly looking at the odometer hating seeing it go up, I used to be able to say that it has 60k on it now it has 72,400 and I bought it 6 days before the whole 9/11 terror. I don't think I will care to much anymore since I took away the collector value by not keeping it stock but oh well its more fun modded or at least I hope it will be.
