Re: What would make the ECM go into limp home mode?

that 50 pound chip that phill was selling was tuned on my truck on the dyno and has been used in a ton of trucks, there is nothing wrong with that chip!guys want to blame the chip. That chip is one of the best 50 chips out there.I mean me and phill and many others have went very good with it,I went mid 11s on stock motor, with turbo and inj upgrade etc.phill went 10s!!

Glad to hear! I was definitly sticking with it whether it works as I would like after or if I need to get another one from him.

I really have no idea what that means. I don't do tuning in house and leave that stuff to the professionals (with the exception of carburetors). I can't remember if I am set on 0 or A...I'd have to verify in the morning.

ok zero is base time base fuel low means low time high means high time
use low time for pump gas high time for race fueal.and the +1 - +7 adds fuel at wot so if your running say 12.2 on wbot and your on +3 move it to say +4 or +5 to add some fuel on top.

Cool. Sounds like you probably zapped it somehow with the battery changeover. Good to see it was an easy fix.

Now drive up my way and lets go surf :p
