That's a hell of a turnaround man! Glad to see you brought it back. Surprising condition considering the relatively low mileage and one owner, but 20 years will do that I guess.

Got my AFR working, wire just came out and remounted the pillar pod. Sent my CAC to the rad shop to have a new neck welded on. Drained the lower cooler, and found just water in it. And started cleaning up the cladding. The night is still young

Got ideas from the board/chat about my turbo coolant line issue.
Went to NAPA twice.
Put the water pump back on.
Installed the lower radiator, IC pump, re-routed the ic lines.
Put on the Alt/PS bracket (including that PITA ps pump/manifold stud support bracket) got the ps pump all hooked up.
Got the lower fan shroud on.
Can't really remember what else I did, but there weren't AS MANY curse words thrown at the truck today as there has been in days past.

DROVE IT for the first time since getting it running...and it's running great:D

Now officially into the "love" half of the relationship. We will see how long it lasts until we get back into "hate"...

Drove it to pickup a wheel bearing for my DD saturn. Then picked up two bags of dirt, two trees, 5 bags of mulch and some grass seed at Home Depot. :tup:

Like everyday for the past year....drive it to work and goin WOT for about 10 seconds, but only do that once goin and once comin from work, I need to remind it that :roll::tup:its a Ty not a blazer.

Re-attached the defrost leads on the back glass from my whoopsie awhile back (forgot that they were attached to the window when taking the struts off...:rant:)

Started it up and let it run (for more than 10 seconds) since the rebuild and install.

finished stripping the control arms so the powder coater can do his magic,then I can rebuild them for her truck

She got a wash and wax tonight to prep for a car show here on base tomorrow to show her off! :tup: Gonna finish the interior tomorrow before leaving for the show since I only have a 3 mile drive one way to the site of the show...:rotf:

Took her to the car show here on post to show her off! :tup: Also ran into a guy at the show that lives here in the Hinesville area that says he's the owner of Sy #1957. Told him about the forum here, but I would guess he was late 50's or early 60's...didn't seem to show much interest. Oh, well...

took it for a quick drive and slight retune. Bottomed out the downpipe and broke an exhaust bracket.
