I locked my keys in the truck one time at the race track. The track loaned me a slim jim but no one could get it open. I found a guy racing an S10 pickup and asked him if by any chance he knew how to pick the lock. His response was "I used to be a repo man - I'll be right over" He had the thing open in about 30 seconds.

I just finished vacuming out the rear window of the ty. What a mess. Got some rejuvinator for the paint. Maybe I'll find time when it isn't so hot and sunny to try to kleen her up. Also painted and installed spoilerless hinges on the rear glass. Gota source some struts.

AFPR from Kirban Performance. 3/4'' heater hose to intercooler. Started to do fuel pump, saw how rusty the tank is and how corroded the sending unit is and decided the best thing to do is order a new tank, sending unit and braided lines from sending unit to fuel filter and junction for return line. Will look those up later. Started installing e-brake cables...Jim

Installed a new alternator, very easy job, which was a nice surprise, from what I usually repair on my cars.

installed front end limiters on the sy. threw on alky tune on the ty....wooohooo

I put a new fuel pump in the typhoon and still have the same problem. Hard start,missing,at 35-40mph it surges and chugs. I don't know what else to do so I'm giving it to my Dyno guy tomorrow night and let him figure it out and get it tuned.

CLeared teh interior out of it, and getting ready to weld those damn roof rack holes. Now, all I have to do is weld, and get ready for prime.paint!

Did a leak down test, put everything back together only to have a large leak developed at the power steering pump once I put the serp belt back on. Dammit.

Well , Im getting there. I put in the access. brackets and accessories and turbo and a few other things. I only got the plug wires(left the down pipe off) and vacum lines(goin to be a b$tch), intercooler and hook up a few more electical plugs.
