I put in a new battery and took my Sy to the gas station for the first time in almost 4 years. I did a little bit of tuning and hit a little bit of boost
It's was a nice reminder to why I deal with all this crap of getting moding my Syclone. My truck is going to move with this bigger turbo/cam/ported Vortec heads :tup:

Finally fixed my overheating problems, new lower rad hose(old one was collapsing under throttle), and hotwired my electric fans to run all the time.

not really done anything myselve, but mark (quickstop) is here getting his truck done, and bundie came along with a new exhaaust for my sy, and a muffler delete pipe to put on the ty, to see if the resonation stops.
Bundie was offering to put on my delete pipe. since my ****ing back is sore...
'Well...dunno about the resonation inside the cab now...but i think the neighbours are going to hate me

Talked to the painter. He started the truck and hopes it will be done this week. The hold up now is that the hood I gave him has a big dip in it, so time to get a cowl and be done. Got new rims and sent them out to powdercoating. Basically spending money like a drunk sailor on leave.

Realigned coilovers
re installed wheel wells for long drive to Rotterdam
finished install of Greddy Boost controller
isolated an annoying ground issue
installed window seals/weatherstripping
changed bulbs
installed highcurrent relay for lights direct from battery (LMC truck)
installed starter motor shim
fitted new filter for turbo
boost launched it!!!!!!!! A number of times
And made a video...to follow

Weather is nice.... drove it to work. While day dreaming about it I stumbled on a pic from last years car show. See if you can spot the lone sy. Here's a hint, I am right after The Deer Slayer.:roll:

got mine back from the detailer today. put off picking it up for 3 days cause of rain! of coarse..f'n raining when i HAD to pick it up.
was bummed,dident want to undo all he just did,soo he suggested using a leaf blower to dry it of instead of a shammy.
the people on my street musta thought i was f'n nuts,leaf blowing my truck in what was a light drizzle by the time i got home. was waiting for the paddy wagon rip down the driveway n the guys in white suits to throw the straight jacket on me!
my girl just looked out the window n shook her head...
detailer found imprints in the paint on the roof of maple leafs! tried to rub them out,but my stock paint is gettin thin. soo the roof of my truck looks like one of my kids projects from kindergarden..
other than that,running great! after a few tweeks,ready to swap the plates n drive the wheels off.
