I installed the injectors, the injector harness, fuel rail, upper intake, and the exhaust manifolds.

Slowly getting closer to firing it up.

Swapped out the old 2-bar MAP sensor and O2 sensor in the Sy. Had to use penetrating oil and an air impact wrench on the O2 sensor to get it to budge since a 2-foot breaker bar didn't do squat.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

Chrome rear diff cover installed (to bad it wasnt what was leaking, the front seal is so off to buy that), wired my electric fan to a switch and have it just set to high (fans will do high low and i had it just for key-on low), put the interior back together, and got the I/C system bled and running again. Clean up some wiring for the a-pillar , and put the interior back together.

Need to fix/finish- front diff leak and rear still, Tstat gasket, fix the linkage on the transmission, finish sanding the cladding SO IT GETS PAINTED and put the truck back together. And i think i have found another decent paint booth to use for cheap.

Have about 100 other things i need to do as well.... But at least it starts and runs. Been so long since i have even touch the thing its sad.

Did a compression test on the Sy just for peace of mind:

#1: 155 psi
#2: 150 psi
#3: 150 psi
#4: 150 psi
#5: 145 psi
#6: 150 psi

All spark plugs look good.

Replaced plugs and wires, what a difference. Oil change tomorrow and cap and rotor change to follow shortly.

wow i actually worked on my Sy today. Swapped out the steering box finally. Gonna replace the hoses and it will be done.
Next is the brakes. Since the steering box took many months to actually get busy on, my goal with he brakes is to be done say before next spring...

I took the sy apart to chage out some bad exhaust gaskets on the drivers side of course!

I also wrapped the downpipe as well.

Today I thought that the Ty would be almost ready to start up with the new rebuild. But when I started working on it I found that the power steering pump had started leaking. So I removed it and replaced it. That took longer than it should have.

Then I found that the idler arm was hitting on the cross-over pipe. I guess I will correct that and see if I can make any progress tomorrow.
