Upper/Lower trans cooler fittings

Which one is the send/return? I assume send is the upper upper fitting and return is the lower fitting coming out of the trans?

The coolers flow from bottom to top. So it goes:
radiator --> bottom of tranny cooler,
top of tranny cooler --> hard metal line going to tranny

The stock lines and cooler are gone on #1713 - I have braided stainless line coming out of the trans going back to a huge aux cooler.

Just wondering which fitting coming out of the trans is send/return (upper or lower) without jacking up my stock sy and following the lines. I want to put my temp sender in the "send" line to get the most accurate readings.

The top line is the return line I believe. The only way to be for sure is to follow them. The one higher up on the transmission case is the return line.
