Typhoon running rich and almost stalls at 2500 rpm when i get on the gas

Ok so my truck is running a little rich. Idle seems to be off and when i hit the gas it bogs down and almost stalls. Below is the datamaster video. Anything out of normal i should check? The typhoon does have a atr pitbull exhaust with a 255 high volume fuel pump and a atr chip. I think the chip was pit in before the fuel pump change.

I am not a pro at datamaster yet. If something looks odd please let me know what it is. Right now the truck wont drive over 3k rpms

What vac does it hold at idle? What is the FP set at? What codes is it throwing? Does the dipstick smell like gas?

What are you doing in the video? Driving? Stopping and going? Parked and revving? It's hard to tell. It would be much easier to tell with data that has smoother transitions like normal acceleration at a fixed throttle rate to eliminate as many variables as possible especially with fueling because your o2 readings will lag behind inputs.

If you just jab the gas pedal nothing is going to look right at all in a data log and it's a shot in the dark. It would also help to have background like if it was running properly a week ago, if any changes were made, etc.

Your MAP readings look like crap and seem way too high at certain spots in relation to TPS, RPM, vehicle speed, but again if you could do a log that shows idling and nothing else, then acceleration at a slow fixed rate, maybe keep it in 1st gear, etc, that would help. But I would look at the map sensor with what's given. 200+ kpa at 5mph and 10% throttle is broken

Datamaster is a tool to see how your perfectly running engine is acting. But whatever I'm out.Good luck.

At idle its like 60ish. I don't know what the FP is set at. Any tips on how to find that out?

Codes are MALF 31 Wastegate Overboost

MALF 33 MAP High

MALF 45 o2 Rich

I will check the dipstick tomorrow

Did you recently mess around with the Distributor?

60 inches of vac? Probably not.

You can check FP with a FP gauge attached to the Schrader valve on the driverside part of the fuel rail. It looks like a tire stem.Let us know about the dipstick fuel smell.

It is probably ~60kpa at idle.

Yes 60 kpa at idle. Is that normal? The idle seems to have gotten a little better but i am hearing some misfires or popping sound in the exhaust

Sure sounds like you have a plug wire in the wrong spot in the dist. cap. Double check that. Firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2.

I will check the wires. If it was in the wrong spot wouldnt the truck run like crap? It runs great when its moving

It would run bad all the time if a wire was out of place.
