Re: Typhoon #1215 Mods

Well the A/C hasn't worked in a while, plus Id rather cruise with the windows open. Also, doin the delete to clean up the bay more. Keepin the truck forever so no worries and I'm keepin all the A/C components.

Got my Compressor cover back from Sound Performance. I usually Polish all my stuff but it's too cold out to be sanding and Polishing and don't really have that much time for that at the moment. Plus, theres still other things to finish on the Ty.

The A/C Delete project is basically done besides me getting a new LS1 tensioner and belt to finish that part. Then its the Electric fans along with getting the Exhaust side Ceramic coated and Fan shrouds coated.

Looks great Sean:tup: I'm in the middle of polishing my compressor housing. I hope it looks half as good as yours and I'll be happy

Re: Typhoon #1215 Mods

Looks like you need a non-ac heater core. What else is planned for the winter hibernation?

Re: Typhoon #1215 Mods

Guna leave the Heater Core Steve, the Hoses go all the way onto the pipes so wont see it. Also finished wrapping my Downpipe today. Thinking about doing the Exhaust crossover since I have quite a bit extra wrap.

Not much left to do on the Beast. Still have to finish wiring up the new Boost gauge, E-fans, and adding heavy gauge cables for the cs-144 Alternator. Hopefully starting it next week and will have a Video :D

Re: Typhoon #1215 Mods

Got the Ty started today. With the help of friend, was able to finish up the New Autometer Boost and Trans temp gauge to match my Fuel pressure gauge. Decided to do the On the Block Filter mod. Really cleaned up the Drivers side. Just have to run the Intercooler piping and finish up wiring the Fans.

Will have more pics up soon of the Gauges and Engine bay.

Sounds great Sean! Do you have any pics on how you mounted your Intrepid fans to the radiator?

Re: Typhoon #1215 Mods

I acutally ended up using the Fans RPM uses in their kit. I needed more clearance for a Air filter and Intercooler piping down the front of the motor. I'll have more pics up soon.
