TurboLink ???

Truckless. For now.
they are currently working on the performance calculator, which will include a dyno and 1/4 mi times. keep in mind, that T-Link is fresh off the press, so there's going to be a lot of updates and added features as time goes on. :) Like with many products, it's important to have a base product ready to use, to get your name/product out there, then, when there's lots of interest, you start expanding the product.

according to them when i ordered this afternoon all the upgrades would be free, assuming they were just software upgrades. like the performance calcualter was actually going to be a dyno tab that dedicates a whole page to all dyno numbers and such. now my question is, how accurate are these numbers? granted i know they are just figured out by math but at least they would give a rough estimate and let you see the performance gains and not just "seat of the pants" gains.

yes, you pay one time for the initial software, and then all the updates are free by download. after you purchase and register the software, you'll get a notice by email to a link that has all of the updates for download when they become available. :)

as for the dyno/etc., i assume it's just as accurate as the one in DM... meaning I don't really know. It uses figures computed from the software during a run (i assume dead stop thru 1/4 mi) like speed, rpm, etc. while it's not a realy AWD dyno, it should give you a pretty accurate estimate of your trucks performance, given it's just software ;).

Don't try to use these programs as a time slip. They are great TUNING tools.
Compare data from your safe and repeatable test area. Has anybody ever
used there DM at the track to crossreference it? I myself have never but
plan to do so this year.

I ran DM last time out.

Track timeslip 11.008 @ 122.0 60' 1.58
Datamaster 10.966 @ 121.8 60' 1.50

0-60 2.79

I made about 10 passes that day and they were all about that close..

i dont get it with these companies and their vaporware.

The show an adapter on their site they sell.

Hopefully today i can just get this thing to connect using dm.

I might call ibm techsupport and tell em to get some settings that i can use or ask them to take this laptop back since i cant use it.

I cant even get the blekin adpater to work here, but i read others have.

I know what you mean. I tried 4 hours to get my new laptop with win xp to work and gave up. I ended up buying an older laptop pretty cheap. I see they have the cable on the site but they said they are having major problems getting it to work.....sux.

I am going to the 1/8 track tomorrow night for the first time with the truck and needed a computer to log with......hoping for a 7 sec run to start with.
