there are a LOT of guys at that auction that have a LOT of cash ,who knows local guy Rick Hendricks might want it you never know.

At what sales price would the truck become a loss if parted out? If it sold for 15k you could probably turn a profit parting it, but if you paid 75k???

Thats a drag strip? All I see in the background is a mobile home, wood/tin shanty, and a mustang.

I don't see a dragstrip anywhere?!?!?!

Regardless of who gets it and despite how sad it is that GM is unloading it, it IS kind of a big day for the SyTy community. Our trucks are utterly underrepresented at B-J and the fact that today's trucks are on the Saturday docket has to be viewed as a good thing for SyTy awareness, and perhaps value. Just trying to be an optimist here...:tup:

That truly is Music City dragway in Nashville, TN. Locals call it the Hill. The Mobile home is the "tower" and tin shanty is the tech shed. The rustang, well you see alot of those at dragstrips, why I don't know.:dunno:

Huh.......and Here I thought it was Highland Rim Speedway. Autocrossed there once, looked ver similar.
