to do's when carpet it out

well, after solving all my issues with my syclone. the ****ing heatercore blew. so the whole carpet was soakking wet, took it all out and washed and cleaned it.
anyway, now eveything is out, what should be a nice to do thing?

sound deadener (sp).
other..
please let me know.

I did sound deadener, I went the el cheapo route with some stuff from the hardware store but it worked out pretty well. You could always use Dynamat or even use some Lizard Skin.

I also ran my stereo cables in a bundled fashion under everything to keep wires hidden.

Id add sounddeadener, and re seam seal all the joints in the floor, Just to be sure look over the floor real good for rust starting, also clean the floor with thinner to get the antifreeze off

i ordered some today. no rust at all. looks like brand new and i did clean it with thinner. thanks for the tips.

Just something to add that doesn't seem to apply here but good to know....

When i re-did my carpet i took out alot of the sound deadener for weight.... that lead to a small problem, the carpet will sit lower without and making the interior pieces not sit flush. I ended up using the sound deadener in the rear so that the panels sat flush on the carpet.
