Every night before I go to work I stop by Dunkin Donuts, get a coffee and b.s. with a few people for a lil while. When I get there someone asks me if Im really selling my Ty for 7g's. I said no and they told me that some guy in a blazer said I was. This is the same guy that has a "syclone swap" in his 93 4door blazer . So for the first time I actually went over there to look at his truck and ask what gave him the impression I was selling mine. I looked around the outside of the blazer and nothing gave me the impression that he had a dime invested into it. I asked him if he had the swap and he said yeah. Later it turns out its only a Sy bottom end (so he says). Me: "did you intercool it?". Him:"yeah". Me: "where is the intercooler?" him "its top mounted just like all the sy/ty's". Me: "but wheres the heat exhcanger?" Him:"oh it just uses the upper one". I asked him to pop the hood so I can look around he says sure. heres his next dumb lie....." I just installed the turbo a couple of days ago". I look around and see nothing. Him: "its on the driver side". I take a look and nothings there. He says: "I only bolted it in but I have to get manifolds so it can work". Me: " have you ever taken it to the track?" Him: "yeah I ran a 14.8 with the turbo and a 75lb shot of N20". (keep in mind the turbo is "not hooked up"). He originally tells me that its the turbo off of a sy but then it turns into one that came off a supra. He told me he was dying to get heads off of a sy/ty but couldnt find any. I continued to look really really hard to find any type of sy/ty modification. and then there it was!! The syclone/supra turbo is really one of those tornado intake mods that helps save gas :rotf: :rotf: :squint: . He was such a joke it made me laugh my ass off, and it made me angry. I always wondered why some people there always had the impression that my Ty was slow. the reason: this deustche bag goes around challenging people to races in his "typhoon" and always lost. (by the way he does call his blazer a "real typhoon"). He also popped a chubby when I told him that I actually owned one. "OMG I cant believe I am really talking to someone that really owns one!!! :shocked!: ". It took him a couple of minutes to get over it and by then I had walked away. Now I know how black people feel when white people walk, talk, dress, and rap like their black.
