Well, its been a while since I have been to a gathering... You all game? If so, when and where do you all want to get together? I waas thinking of a Saturday meet in or around Austin, then a short drive to the dragstrip in San Antonio for "midnight madness" grudge racing. Any other ideas?
How about sometime in November/ December?

Make it in Austin on Saturday, Nov 11 and I'll be there for sure and drag as many of the DFW contingent with me as I possibly can.

If i am in town i will drive down, mine is finally up and running again. Just need to find a inspection sticker.

In! Bruce (Syclone#2960) & I talked about doing it out at his house in the country (Hutto, TX), just outside of Austin. He has a big driveway & a nice spacious garage...

He should chime in shortly w/ his feedback on dates, but 11/11 works for me.

The 11th sounds decent to me. How about the rest of our friends in Texas?

I would love to show the truck too - just depends on being able to work on it. I'm healing a back injury right now, could be months before I can do any heavy labor :(

I'll just be missing out this time. I'll be heading out to Nevada around that time to go pick up my first Sy/Ty :D. It's a 93 Typhoon. Hopefully I'll be ready to catch the next meet.

Well, wouldn't you know. I suggest the specific date, and now I'm having to back out. My kid made National Merit Scholar Semifinalist, and UT-Dallas (her 1st choice for college) has a dinner that evening specifically for the merit scholars. But, it basically means a free ride thru college for her, and that $$ will buy a lot of Typhoon parts....
If the date HAPPENS to change, I'll be there (um, unless it's on Thanksgiving weekend). Otherwise, have a beer and make a pass (not neccessarily in that order!) for me.

Well id like to come out, but my local HASTE (www.h-a-s-t-e.com) club has our annual camping trip planning for that same weekend, and im already booked for that, so unless the date changes ill have to try some other time.

Also all you fellow Texas SyTy peeps dont forget about the annual Texas S-Series meet in Austin around the Month of March, we meet for a day of hanging and BS'ing and SyTy's are always welcome.

Man...I would really like to have the syclone back together and running before we have our "2nd annual Texas Syty meet". I wouldn't mind just meeting up at one of the race tracks (SA, H-Town or Temple).
Is everybody cool with 11-11?

I am patiently awaiting the return of my Sy. 11-11 works for me, but I sure would like to find a date lots of peeps are down with. 11-18 is Midnight Madness at San Antonio raceway. It would be cool to do a meet in Austin area, and then roll down to the races...
