I see a couple of leaky spots.think all the gaskets are still good on the thing though?
I'd kinda assume you'd have to pull the pan and valve covers off at least to check things over.
Yeah, I did catch that. Thanks.Make sure you read the customer reviews on that site. There is only one but it wasn't good.

I sent an email a few minutes ago to the contact info on the website & here is what I got back:
Good afternoon Rick.
Thank you for your interest in SVI!
Yes, we did a 4.3L single & twin T/C - CAC feasibility study (Y Car & "other" targets) for GM.
What specifically would you like to know?
How did you find us?

After continual application of PB Blast overnight & then some heat this morning I was able to remove the CHRA from the exhaust housing.
It's a very interesting wastegate setup. The outer vanes are controlled by the wastegate arm. They all open & close simultaneously to control turbine speed.
Notice how small & little the pitch is on the turbine.

When I removed it & tried the actuator about 3 of the vanes weren't moving. They had popped out of whatever makes them move. I rotated them & eventually they seated and began moving in unison with the others. That is different, that is the same way that a Francis Reaction Turbine works in a hydroelectric powerplant. In that case you would have a highflow of water with low and medium head pressure. 99% of the time they are super reliable, but can you picture one of the links breaking on the outer vanes ? When you use the engine get a different turbo for it. The most that I seen go bad was 7 and the noise that it made is something you don't forget. Do you have any pictures of the other side showing the connection of all the outer vanes with the wastegate arm ? TIA
