You mean besides that it is a cast aluminum piece?

well i was assuming since it was prototype that they just modified a V8 intake so that it'd work on the 6cyl.

if they cast 3 pieces, thats a damn waste.

I'm not sure yet. But I'd venture to say it is a one piece casting.

I don't know. The owner of the motor couldn't tell me what car it came out of at the Race Rock.
I've tried to find a pic of a GTP V6 motor, but it looks like those might be harder to find than a CIA field office.

I've got one of those S10 V8 radiators that tuck into the radiator core support, so hopefully this motor will drop right in..
Although the Sy no longer has AC, I might add it back just for this.

It's going into the Sy.

Man, that looks tight... the turbo is way forward of the A/C & front of block....

It doesn't strike me as anything race-built, as they would have done roller valvetrain. It looks the part of GM prototype.

I sent a pic to Mike Lee this week & he was like "WTF?" He couldn't figure out what was going on with stock rockers & head bolts in those heads.
