We went 2 weeks ago. here in Milan, MI. & did like 7-8 passes then they opend the track up & did roundee round. like 20 + runs you could make if you wanted. bring it to homecoming in 2010. Nice 12.0 pass..

Just a quick update..

I only got two runs & the first run which was the best ,,,,they had no timeslip for me.:rant:

8 hrs of waiting & only two runs,,,,,:rant:

Anyways,,,I only ran a 12.0 with tires spinning & wheel hop @ 108 A/F ratio was too lean,13.8 so I lost some MPH,,,,cannot do any adjusting w/only 1 run to see what was going on with the Sy,,:rant:

I knew it was quicker/ faster,,my butt dyno thought so :rotf:

Man,, is it this crowded/busy @ your local tracks?

I had to drive 70 miles each way for basically 1 run to read a timeslip.:rant:

I had waited so long from the first pass to the second pass the tire pressures creeped up to 38-39 PSI (hence less traction) ,,,just soaking up the hot Cali sun.

As you can see I was not worried about the R/T,since I only got 1 race in, I wanted to make sure I was ready,,,I still beat a Honda even with his head start LOL.:rotf:

12.082 @ 108.58 w/a 1.688 60'

Now I think I need a converter.. It just did not want to spool @ the starting line,,,I had lowered the turn on point awhile ago,,( IIRC 8 PSI? ) for the Aquamist & was somewhat loaded up the engine as I was building up boost to launch,, & not allowing it to spool up quicker.

I have a 10 CM turbine housing machined to fit the "H" wheel,,,but that will choke off the top end. I also have a 14 CM housing ,,but that won't help the bottom end.

The Aquamist 1S system I have cannot blow out the spark,the pump cannot pump that much volume,It mainly just lowers the intake charge temps.

It was also warmer @ the track than I expected it was mid 80's

Maybe in December it will be nice & cool??

How hard is this on your transfer case? I was always curious to how much damage you can do to your case by running different sized front/rear circumferences.

How far off can your front to rear circumferences be before you need to worry?



CONGRATS on your 12.0 .... SOOOOO close to your first 11 second slip :( ... next time, next time :p ---

12.0 is pretty damn good for a mild buid like yours! Congrats man! I need to get my truck straightened out ASAP and get it to the track!

Now,,,,how can I post a timeslip link?;) Since I couln't find my old one,,many people thought I just made up my 12.29 number. & Daron thought I was holding onto my old timeslip for dear life:rotf:.,,,,my Sy has never been slower than it ran back in 2001 even w/all my bolt on mods.....

I have never bolted on a mod & ran slower then took it off,,I have used minimal amount of $$$. & parts.

I think I proved you can bolt on parts & run good,,,just need the correct selection of parts.
My Sy used to run in the 14's (stock) @ Palmdale LACR years ago in 1999 got those times down to 12.50.-12-60

I do know you can bolt on mods & run slower,,,I've seen guys do it & have talked w/them about it.

,,,I still wished it ran 11 but It was not a perfect run either.

Thanks to the guys that showed me some confidence in there ET guess that I can run better than before.!!!!!:tup:
