Re: SyTy Secrets, REVEALED!
LOL.... you guys are worse than my kid :rotf: Can't wait for Christmas.
Anyways, sorry for the delays guys. I had to go down to Kokomo, IN for a few days and straighten some things out for work.
To answer your questions:
1. "Real" exec's don't do anything but sign paperwork and talk. If they were actually going to help you find out information, they wouldn't do more than make a phone call and tell someone else to do it. They have a sinking company to worry about.
2. I didn't forget you guys. There is ALOT of data from engineering regarding these vehicles. Plus, there are alot of missing links that have to be followed up on to verify authenticity. If I get a VIN that doesn't make sense, then I have to call 3 dept.'s and trail it back all the way. So, this is literally like a full blown audit.
3. How much longer is it going to take? Not sure. The only way I can explain the "searching" of this data is like trying to sort out how many red cherrio's are in a box of cherrio's. The problem is, we have some pink one's, and they don't belong. Were they red and just lost some color? See what I'm getting at?
4. "They" know I'm doing this. They are happy someone is doing it because nobody wants to and actually it needed to be done anyways just for records sake. As long as this whole thing doesn't interfere with my normal daily activites at work, there's no problems.
5. YES, I left partial payment on the Typhoon. No, I don't have it home yet. I haven't had time to go thru everything and have it checked out so it can be moved. Portions of it need to be reassembled. As soon as it's in my garage, I'll post up some pictures.
6. I'm not some "engineer." I'm the Senior Engineering Supervisor, Engineer I, Infotainment and Body Electronics Division. My supervisor is the dept. head, whom reports to the Vice President of NA Operations.
Whew.....
