Holidays obviously made it impossible for me to make forward progress.
Tonight the flanges are to be welded to the pipes. I will be leaving mid week to deliver Daron's sy to him in Texas and not be back until Sunday. Good news is next week my concentration will be on downpipes fully again. I would put the progress right now at 60% complete. Didn't expect things to take this long, but life has gotten in the way more than I thought it would.

I believe he is. I think it is going to be auctioned off with profit going to the SyTy nats. They are still working out the details and it would be the last one finished obviously. Stay tune to 2007 nats forum for official announcement and procedures.:tup:

Jeremy is correct I plan to auction one off at the end of the GP, once all pipes are shipped with monies above my costs being donated to next years nats. Nats takes cash flow and just like everybody myself included we like to pay just days before the event.
But, on to update. Last night we took all the stainless pipes I have on hand and got flanges tack welded to them. Tacking takes the longest, now they are ready for final welding of the flanges.
I am leaving thursday, and have a few things to get done on the sy before I do leave, but next week with Daron's Sy delivered I plan to go full bore to finish these pipes up. Just know nobody will be disapointed in quality, maybe how long they are taking, but the quality is by far A+.

Sorry guys, been busy again. More progress has been made, and more will happen tomorrow.
I got Daron's sy back down to him, so 1 major project off my list of things to do. Nothing like driving 1050 miles after working all day. almost 40hours without sleep it was fun.
Then the plane ride back was even more fun, got home at 1am.
So needless to say last weekend didn't get anything done. They are my #1 priority in life now though.

Slow going but making progress again.
The upper sections are just about complete. They are the most time consuming due to the flanges, keeping them flat, the oval extension for puck, etc. 2nd half of pipes will go a lot quicker.
We have 3 left to weld for the top sections.
I have the rat just about apart, for final pictures on how to mod housing, and install pics and final fitup of the 2nd half.

Just what i was looking for. I cant believe i missed this thread. :rant: Anyway YES I know, I know the GB is over and i know you plan on auctioning one off but if you happen to come across one in stanless or if someone feels bad that they stated they wanted one and now cant for what ever reason i will be happy to take that place in line.
