My job keeps me on the road alot but I'ld like to catch a get-together some time. I hit Derelict Donuts on Sat. mornings in H.B. fairly regular. Just hooked up Datamaster today for the first time. Got a few things to look at. Running out of fuel @ high load. Guess I'll start with the fuel filter and work my way from there.

We need to start organizing some "get togethers" between May 15th- August 15th!!! I'm going to be down there for the summer from college and want to meet up with some people to get ejumacated on these things. I just bought mine in January and I've never seen another SYTY on the road!!!!! Ever!!!!! I want to compare my car with your guy's and see if that ticking really is the injectors
I don't know what is "right" and how it really should sound because I've never seen another one.
I'll have to look it up, but I think the Legends burgers by my house in Alta Loma has a car show like every month. Like the second sunday of every month for example, I'm not sure.

hey there the mechanic has started working on my sy now....after that it has to get smogged and then the reg for the last 2 years since its been non-op.......so yeah lets get this thing rolling...there is a few of us now in the IE area now....you got lloyd, me, mike from riverside, and the mountain guy...

I'll be there, later is better for me. Can't say if the sy will be with me... although if no more issues are found who knows.

check that....it was at The hat last time i think you saw it and the last time i made it to a meet was late 2004 over at the hawaiin bbq joint in torrance....

Glad to hear the good news, Nasario!! It would be cool to see it again. The last time I saw your truck was at Bob's Big Boy in Dec '03. Here in the foreground:

That's funny because after I uploaded the pic and made the post, it seemed not two minutes later I went back and edited my post to say "TGI Friday's" because I thought that that was when I last remembered seeing your truck. You must have been surfin' the forum and caught my original post before I edited it. That's never happened to me before. Crazy.
Now thinking about it yet again, you are right. I do remember seeing your truck at The Hat that last time. I have been brain farting a lot lately but heck all your trucks look alike anyway!!! lol.

Thier kicking around the idea of one in the next 30 days or so, and it will be a meet out here in the LA Area no doubt, kind of far for you but none the less still welcome, I'll be pushing more for it my self when my Sy is back in my hands, which is finnaly looking to be soon... Finish balancing the crank (at the begging of next week) then mike will toss it together and back in the truck and maybe I can make it? Hope so.
