Wow i didn't realize that i got 3 place. of course i know nothing about how it's graded other than the time but the over unders and stuff. I just know i had one hell a of a good time doing it. My truck actually has a purpose now lol..


Adam how light is your truck when comparing it to a stock truck. I know you didn't have the inner fenders, air cond, or full exhaust. .

Yes sir-ree-bob!!! You MUST make plans now to attend this event. Yet another Big Gun I'd like to personally meet and you would greatly enjoy the event. The folks that throw it and attend are awesome.

Hmmmmm, I am liking the development of this event a WHOLE lot. All you Big Guns show up and this could be the making of a phenominal gathering. Put it on the calender, Alex!!!!

I wont be running autoX, but 1/8th or 1/4-mile...that's another story.

I am on the fence about this one breaking the 11 sec barrier but it should be right there. Would be superb to be inducted into the "Big Gun" club with all you lightning rods present to witness the occasion. I might even have to adopt a new upgraded user name....something like Sir Sirloin or Dr. Prime Rib ;).

No fender wells, A2A, still have AC, no ABS, no windshield wiper bottle/wipers, PTE 3" downpipe.

Cant be that much lighter than stock.

That is a HUGE advantage. Not only does it save weight, but it enhances aerodynamic flow. Still won't be enough though to oust the reigning champ.

I recommend you remove your windshield and back glass and just wear goggles next year. That might do it for ya!!

Alright, so I have a FG hood too.... oh yeah, and no spare tire or the winch for it....

Like I mentioned... that 39 sec run was done with someone sitting in the passenger seat...so all the things missing off my truck was made up with that dude :tup:

My motor has never been opened up either ;)

So I'll go on record now as saying that I believe that by the time the Shindig rolls around in 2012, my truck will be on the road and ready to play. Of course, there is the distinct possibility that I may have blown it up again by then...
