I made a fresh pattern template and I'll send it over to Mike at RPM and see if he wants to make some.. Renzy may be interested too. I've got the Stage1 turbo from RPM and it sits just a hair different from a stock turbo. Maybe something could be done on the inlet of the box to account for different setups.
I'm anxious to go for a drive with my temp gauges installed to see what kind of difference it makes. I'm a little concerned the opening in the lower front portion of the fender isn't quite big enough... I'll do some measuring on that as well.

Got the heat reflective barrier applied to the outside of the CAI box yesterday. Last step will be to build a ram-air scoop beneath the front fender opening to build positive pressure inside the box.

The radiator overflow tube was almost up against the CAI tubing. I found this Ford or Chrysler radiator elbow at the parts store... nice fit and solved the problem.
I am unable to find that elbow for the overflow on the radiator. Any suggestions?

Try NAPA - they had one in our local store.... almost any other parts store should too. They're in the aisle with all the miscellaneous small parts (door clips, etc.) - there should be one section for radiator stuff.

Thanks ill try napa. I tried autozone and advance auto. Neither had them.
Anything ever come of the cold air box? It looks awesome. Is there a template?

Yup, I've got the template, but couldn't get it sent out to RPM before I left Wyoming... will be Spring before I get out there to retrieve it.

Actually, I'm working for a place now that does SLS prototypes.... we make very tough, durable parts for UAV's and parts for Indy Cars. We're going to be getting a laser scanner here in the next few months, so I'm thinking a nylon SLS barrier and then spraying it with the Lizard Skin ceramic heat barrier (also going to spray my intercooler with the Lizard Skin). It's going to take a while, but it is a goal, along with an SLS lower ram scoop for the fender.
