what do i need to put roller tip rockers in l35 heads? what springs do i need to use? 1.5 or 1.6 for a basically stock engine? planning on keeping stock cam for time being. planning on gasket matching heads and 3 angle valve job. plans are to drop heads off at machine shop in next couple of weeks. just looking to get the most bang for the buck without putting something together that wont work or will be overkill and lose power. also installing full length headers and timing control for n2o (to come later) if that helps.

Go to hood tuned performance, a vendor here in the parts for sale section. he has a set of $90 rocker arms that may work fine for you for a budget build. I drilled and tapped out the 10 mm threaded holes to 7/16" so i could use a small block chevy rocker arm stud on the l-35's that i had. Your's may not have the threaded holes and in that case, more money and time required. there is a good 4.3 v-6 write up as to blocks, cams, cranks and heads history and a magazine did a 400 hp buid up of an n/a engine, but with a carb... do a search and remember to expand the dates to the last year or so to find info you need. search for l35 heads and 4.3 history.
