Hi, I have a syclone with the battery located in the bed of the truck, 2 days ago, a metal piece had rub both battery poles at the same time, the truck almost stalled and the gauges went wild, from zero to max back and forth, I,ve stopped the truck, got rid of the metal debris, the truck started again but when I floor it, at about 3000 rpm, the truck is bogging and as it bogged, the tack needle does the same, if I lift, everything OK. Can this overload damaged the computer or anything else, the truck isn't running good from this day, help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks...Eric Belisle, Syclone #2662. I've tryed to pull the ecm-fuse for 30 sec, no change!

Before Buying anything other than a six pack (You may need it and more), I would scan the computer with a scan tool/ datamaster or have someone that knows how to use one look at it and check your data stream out for anything that is not right... about the only fuseable link that should have blown is the one that is between the alternator and the battery... (Used to be located on the starter off of the big post). A memcal goes for about $60 new from the dealer and the ecm goes for about $70, remanned, from a parts store with your core... If you need an electrical schematic, let me know and I'll email you one, but, of course it won't have your mods on it.... 8)
