rear axle replacement

I have checked the run out on both of my rear axles and they are out of limits. so i guess I need to replace both axles, as well as install longer studs for the spacer I will need for the new zo6 wheels.

was wondering the best place to buy the axles as well as part numbers. would prefer to buy new so I don't have to blow a day or two looking in the junk yard for one and hope it all works out.

not needing bad ass race axles or anything, just some stock replacements would be fine. any help is greatly appreciated

moser has some that fit perfectly. give them a call and you can also specify a c-clip eliminator for a more safe rear end.

thanks for the timely response John

all I am looking for is a 28 spline for 10bolt 7.5" right. no worries about the ABS stuff since I deleted ABS.

Tony at Moser says that he is pretty sure that with the Syclones, they aren't the same measurements as stock axles. Has anyone ever heard of this. He wanted me to take measurements before we placed an order.

Summit says they can get me some Superiors for 99 bucks a piece, they "say" they are direct bolt in's.

I just pulled my stock axles out ...15k ...on them. I am doing a complete Moser setup. Nothing wrong with any of the parts. Just upgrading since I am uping the hp and changing the suspension.

if you get the c clip emlininator axels you wont be able to use the abs. but their drop in's should work. if it's too much for ya then just buy johns old axels...

Your results my vary, but we ran Superior axles on my brother's Mustang and he snapped one on an easy 4000 RPM launch. The axles only had about 30 passes on them.

We switched to Moser's....
