The hose is very close to the exhaust. The manifolds turn cherry red under boost. TONS of heat radiated. There's a reason Caterpillar, Detroit, Cummins, even PAS use a metal line for the turbo oil return. Because the heat of the hot-section and exhaust will burn rubber hose from the radiated heat, but steel will not be affected..
I don't build 7 customer SyTy a year, so I'm not qualified to know what works on a SyTy. My experience is with large Diesel engines in yachts where reliability and risks of fire are taken extremely seriously. An oil leak next to a 1,400º down pipe will ruin your day. In a yacht offshore, it can ruin your life. There's not a chance I'd use rubber hose that close to the turbo snail, DP, or exhaust to carry oil. Instant fire if it burns through. Too risky. I saw the "4-wire" part. It will still get very hot and could burn the layers between the wires.
