These are popular with the corvette crowd. They come with sliding bridge. I pruchased a second bridge so I could also lift the complete car off its tries to change tires work on brakes, clean, etc. I also purchaced the transmision jack which works well with the lift.

The Kwiklift is a good choice for those without tall garages. The Kwiklift has no mechanical items that can break down like a scissor lift has. The middle area under the car is completely open and accessible. A scissor lift obstructs the middle area of the undercarriage. It comes with a sliding bridge. Try to get that with a scissor lift. You can jack up and remove the wheels on the Kwiklift, so that is not a limiting consideration. It is adjustable to fit your car/garage and is self storing. A scissor lift much more difficult to move or store. Weight limits are not a concern. A scissor lift has limits and the more weight you want to lift, the more $ it costs. Finally, look on E-Bay for Kwiklifts compared to Scissor lifts. You will rarely find a Kwicklift listed but the others are a dime a dozen. That is somewhat proof the Kwiklift are keepers. Besides they are cheaper than the rest.
I paid around $1,300 powdercoated, a second bridge, and a trans jack. A neighbor and I both bought together and saved about 1/2 on shipping.
