I wasn't really planning on doing a 4L80E swap anytime soon but I am in for an input shaft around $350.

Jeff, would my shaft be long enough or is 3" not gonna get the job done? :oops:

I counted and it is 32 spline.. If this would work I'd be down for getting one..

3" should be enough for your truck, can't help you on other things.

one more question, since robert from sweden is the guy probably making the most power through a 80e, what is he using for a output shaft and a Tcase input shaft?

He was using a 27 at one time, not sure now.

I am leaving for Seattle tonight for weekend ty motor swap project.

When I return I will be sending company sample pieces to firm up the price. From there I can make sure the 350 price works and get an ETA. Until order is placed we won't know.

I would guess 2 months or so away, but that is purely a guess.

If someone needs something quicker I may have a solution also. Still working that end also.

I'll take a x case input for 350ish.

If you end up one short to make the trans out shaft pm me.
I need to know in advance because I sold my camaro on payments so I have cash flow issues at times.

Ok, back from my engine adventure. Sending sample parts out to shop tonight to firm up the price. I originally had them quote 15, with more than 15 it appears my price should still be good. Won't knoe 100% until parts arrive and he is able to inspect them fully but its looking good.

If those that want them can EMAIL me contact info, I will finish my list and keep everyone updated that way. Once order is placed, status etc. I need your name, address, email, qty. No monies.

I also am taking confirmed names off line into my list also. A few people like to remain on the downlow so that helps them also.

Are you going to make these a little longer than the stockers like Blake did?

Yes, if you see in that pic there is a spacer on front, I can just suspect it was due to a miscalculation, not sure it really does anything besides make things the right length.

Yeah, I did notice the spacer and the difference just before the spacer where the shaft gets larger. I wasn't really sure why it was done that way. A mistake make most sense..

I'm glad that yours will be longer as well as that will provide more overlap on my short 3" shaft. I did some measuring the other day and if it were made the same length as stock I would only have 7/8" of overlap...
