OEM wheels worth anything?

It's about time to get some tires for my Z06's.

What should I do with my stock wheels? They were, at some point, chromed. Badly. They're in pretty rough shape, the chrome is literally falling off in a bunch of places and the right front has some pretty nasty curb damage.

Should I attempt to sell them or just haul them off to be recycled?

Even bad chromed wheels have some value maybe 250-350 depending on how bad they are

Yep from the sounds of their condition, seems like a good candidate for getting fixed/powder coated . Keep in mind that these wheels are exclusive to sytys, NOTHING else has them...

I'm off work early today, so I'll have pics up in a few hours.

I have no plans to invest money in reconditioning these wheels so they will be up for grabs and all offers will be considered.

Do you have any pics of a set powered coated? My stock wheels had corrosion on them under the flaking clearcoat.

There was a thread about doing this not too long ago. There wasn't any pics of a syty wheel done but you could get an idea of what was possible... For some powder coating is a viable option especially if the wheels are heavily pitted. So much material would have to be removed to clean them up it's just not practical to do so.

Not that I'm aware of. I've had them balanced a couple of times and the shop says they're fine, but I still have a vibration at about 40mph and 70mph I can't seem to get rid of.....

For anyone interested in buying these, please PM me so I can make a list. I won't have the OEMs off the truck until after taxes come back, after which I can put tires on my Z06's and then put them on the truck.
