Double-A
Quitter
This is painful - if you know me you understand. A January salary cut and some changes in my life resulting in no free time for wrenching are forcing me to sell my Aspen Blue Ty before I'm able to get all of the bugs ironed out.
In an effort to keep it 56k safe, more pics are here:

This is an ideal truck for the right person. The truck currently has a PA salvage title due to an engine bay fire in 2005. The fire wasn't bad, but the ins co totaled it for some reason. Anyway, it was back together and running (somewhat) at Nats this year. Pics of the fire damage available in Jimmy's Graveyard:

The GOOD:
- Original Aspen Blue Ty (last I saw only 12 known to exist - please correct me if that's inaccurate)
- Truck will run 11's with current build when finished
- 89k miles on the chassis
- 30 miles on engine (not 30k, 30 MILES)
- similar build to Bob Galla's Ty - Bob actually built the engine
- L35's with 2.02/1.60 valves
- 4-bolt mains, Eagle rods, etc.
- 50# injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump
- brand new PTE54 setup including hi-flo catcon
- custom chip by Dig
- super huge CAC radiator from group purchase
- Johnson IC pump
- 2800 stall converter
- ATR cat-back
- New shocks (KYB Monomax)
- Powder coated (silver) intakes and accessory brackets
- spotless silver ZR1s with new rubber (9.5/11")
- ZQ8 steering box, new idler arm
- Interior in excellent shape
- New Odyssey battery
- New fluids - brakes, trans, rearend, power steering
- New fuel filter
- I'm sure there's something I'm forgetting
The Not so good:
- Has an electrical gremlin that I haven't had time to track down. Runs but stumbles bad under load. Has thrown Low Coolant Temp code a couple times - coolant sensor replaced but no difference. I replaced the engine harness after the fire, and perhaps there's a bad wire or connection in the new harness. Dig also suggested trying a new chip, but I haven't had time to try anything. (And I'm currently without a diagnostic tool.) Once it's running properly it will pass inspection to have the salvage title replaced - everything else is fixed.
- The roof needs refinished. Had the typical rust starting above the back window, but we fixed that and removed the roof rack. As a temporary fix for Nats I brushed primer and paint on the repair areas (insert redneck joke here) but that will need refinished.
- Passenger side of windshield leaks somewhere.
- Hood is a different color blue - paint it when you paint the roof.
- Both rear corner claddings are cracked, but easy fixes. See pics.
- AC needs charged. I have a new accumulator, but didn't want to install it till it's ready for charge.
- OEM boost gauge is pegged for some reason. Not that it's accurate to start with.
If you're willing to troubleshoot and do a little paint work, this is IMHO the steal of the century. You will not find an 11-second Aspen Ty for this price ever again, so this is your chance. Since the truck has a salvage title, it is not currently legal to drive on the road - the truck will need trailered from me to you. I'll do what I can to work with a shipping company if you need to go that route.
I have more than $10k into the engine and turbo setup alone. First $8000 takes the whole truck.
