who else is planning on driving so we can plan a caravan (of course...if you think you can stand 15hrs of shenannigans while driving. You can always just turn off your 2way radio :tup:

I'm still debating weather or not to go to the Nats, but if I do, i'd definately like to ride out with you guys! I guess i'll let you know for sure as the time gets closer.

You know Lord Renz I never thought of that or I would have taken more time off. :lol: I hope Eric's woman doesn't kill him about the time you guys arrive in KC! What time do you guys see yourselves getting there? We're shooting four about 3 to 5 pm on thurs.

prolly more like 9pm on thurs....that'd require us leaving my place by 5am though. Who knows - especially if smaug is trailering.

I would rather leave Wednesday night and get their Thursday during the day. For us to meet you at 5 am, we would have to leave at 2:30-3am anyways.

I also would like to pick up the Dolphins-Steelers Game @ 8:30 pm on Thursday Night:)

ok just trying to decide on what im gonna do. Probably trailer it in case something breaks. besides a couple of my friends may go along so ill need the room. but if I go that means I wont be able to get a lot of the stuff done on the ty that I was planning

well i drove big blue today.. its regged and on the road.. it isn't pretty but it does drive..

so far.. I have to adjust the valves and the timing, it has a hard time idling but it does fine under acceleration.

who knewa tbi 350 would be so difficult to get to run right......oh yeah and the exhaust x over is smoking, oil might be leaking somewhere :(

anyhow, I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow, i'll be gone for a week, st. maarten here I come!

I'll leave Wednesday if everyone else wants to. Thats no problem with me...i just assumed people would take as little time off from work as possible. But i guess its a helluva drive especially from NJ.

I drove to st louis and it took me about 15 hrs from here in westminster. I am debating on coming now. originally i wasnt going to but it looks like i have a ton of vacation time from work, and not a whole lot to use it for. what is the going rate for the hotel rooms, stuff like that? basically what is the average total cost of attending (assuming of course my sy doesnt brake down). i have been looking for a good "road trip" to test the 4l80's beautiful lockup that my 700 didnt have.

if people leave after work on Wed, it should work out just fine, thats what Mike and I always did.

We'd leave his house around 6-6:30pm on Wed, stop for 3 hours just before the Ohio boarder, then hit the road early in the morning and get to the hotel in the early afternoon, I believe around 3pm.

Doing this not only avoids traffic around Columbus, Indianapolis and St Louis, but you have enough time to chill, shower, eat and relax so you dont feel like poop for the whole weekend.

Now being that we should technically have 2 drivers for each vehicle, then we can probably just blast straight through, and if we dont have 2 drivers for each, i have no problem pulling double duty to make up time.
