NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

Re: NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

Does your 'check engine' light come on when you turn the ignition to the 'on' position? This light being on determines if battery and ignition voltage are present at the ECM.

Re: NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

Pink/black is B+ feed from the ignition. Green and Blue are grounds back to the ECM via the injector drive circuit.

So then it looks fine. It can only be the fuel injectors themselves. How can all six go out at once? Does not make sense.

I have an extra set of 50lbs. injectors. I will go ahead and replace them to rule them out.

It's not your injectors... all six won't fail at once.... it's something else.

The check engine light is solid & the check gauges light is flashing.

Check for loose/defective chip or chip carrier or bad ECM.

Injectors are 12v supply always (key on), and pulsed to ground.

Fuel + fuel pressure you have, so the pump/regulator isn't the issue.

Can you connect to the ECM with a scan tool?

Re: NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

What were the conditions leading up to this? Did it happen all-at-once, or is this a problem that showed up after a parts swap/engine mod?

The scan tool is not picking up any codes.

Going to check for the 12 volts at the injectors.

Re: NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

okay if I'm using my fluke 87 RMS multimeter right. I'm not getting any readings from the #1 fuel injector connector with the ign on. But when I touch it with the light tester to ground they both light up. I need to verify with my electrical engineer neighbor to make sure I'm using the fluke right.
Back in a few.

Is the fule pressure holding after the pump primes? I ran my 50s and ultimate at 50psi base pressure. Maybe your gauge is off and there isn't enough pressure to fire the injectors. It takes miniman 30-35psi for the injectors to work

Was cruising home. Started back firing...coasted to a stop. Tried starting again at it would pop at ilde. Placed in drive & it would shut off.

I could hear little spark sounds around the distributor area. I could not pin point the source.

Did you check your coil wire? Doesn't take much to fire starting fluid.

Do you have DataMaster? If you do hook it up and with the motor cranking see if you're getting an injector pulse.

I will try using the DM. I was using the Fluke wrong, lmk check the injector plug for volts.

Re: NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

I'm getting 11.6 volts from the pink/blck wire. Nothing from the other two (blue & green wire) with the fluke.

11.60 volts at the injector plug (both wires).

With the Ignition on.

That's a little low.... should be at battery level.... maybe put it on a charger while you're doing your tests.
