NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

Syclone#2960

What ever it takes!!
The ty is not getting fuel to the cylinders.

I checked 3 fuses ECM's & IGN.-Good
Fuel PSI is 35 & I can hear the fuel pump prime on tuen key status.

I disconnected the #1 fuel injector wire plug and ran a test light to ground. Then with the ign turned "on"...I'm getting a light at both wires.

Is this right?

If I spray starter fluid through the TB it will start to burn the fluid but the injectors must not be firing cause it shuts off.

Re: NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

BTW I checked the injector plug on the sy as well ans it is lighting up the test light at both wires also.
So this must be normal/correct.

Are my injectors bad?

Your ignition module likely died. No reference pulses to the ECM.

Edit - Did you check the fuse behind the alternator?

It has been replaced with a proven working unit from the sy.
I see the RPM needle moving when I crank the key.

I'm going to add a 0/1 ground cable from the driver side rear head ground location to the frame.

Could be a ground issue.

DITTO. Part number is 1048-2827 (located under your distributor cap, BTW).

I removed the CM from the running syclone & installed it to the non-running typhoon.
I even removed the MAS & installed it on the syclone (fired up).
Running out of ideas.
The fuse behind the alternator is good.

Did you replace the injectors or are they stockers? Some aftermarket injectors require a driver mod to the ECM in order to work. How about fuel pressure? It is holding pressure or coming up to 35 and dropping back down? Could be regulator issue..

Re: NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

I have been running the 50lbs. injectors for about 4 years now. I'm running the vortec 412 cam 50lbs injector Ultimate chip version 2.
When I spray starter fluid in the TB it will start then shut off.
The extra ground wire did not help.

Out of gas?? Go ahead and kick me... I'll turn around to make it easier....

I'm looking at the schematics right now... If something looks suspect I'll post again.

Re: NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

At the Injector harness plug there are 3 wires.
Blue, Green & Pink/black.

With the ignition turned "on" I get a light with the tester connected to ground but nothing on the other two wires. Same thing while cranking.

One of those wires has to be a ground, so your test light should not light up on both connectors.

Re: NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

Are you EGR delete? If not, service manual says a stuck EGR can cause a low enough A/F ratio at startup to prevent starting.

Does the fuel pump continue to run after 2 seconds into cranking to start? If not, it indicates no reference pulses from the ignition module.

I was thinking the same thing but when I checked the same connector on my other running syclone it did the exact same thing. I'm glad I have the syclone to check/verify parts are working on the ty.

No EGR...I have it removed with a block-off plate.

The fuel pump stay running while cranking & about 2 seconds after I stop cranking you can still hear the pump priming.

Pink/black is B+ feed from the ignition. Green and Blue are grounds back to the ECM via the injector drive circuit.

Going to check my lotto ticket. If I'm a winner, I'm going to take this typhoon to the crusher! Something alot of owners would like to do at times like this.
