Now that's a tie-down. I tried the hardware turnbuckle style and it straighted right out. If you don't want to go solid mounts I'd recommend this. I did solids and would do it again in a flash now that I know what I'm doing but this is a great looking solution.

i made a kit, that looks exactly like that, worked really great, but took the engine out for a headgasket fix, and went solids

I have an almost identical set up. I used the round ends and after about 3-4 launches, the motor pulled it apart. I bought a new end and welded the f**ker together and havent had a problem since. Just somethign to think about.

Ok sign me up...

The sooner the better... If it isnt within the month I will have to make my own.

I need one yesterday but the truck is down for paint for a couple weeks. Thats the next thing after paint.

well if you really need one, i could send the one off my personal truck being as its not going anywhere currently, but the paint might be a little on the scratched side.

tytilidie, i have tested this thing alot and it hold up to tons of high psi launches, ask sy1907 or dhorsman2000, this thing holds up good, im not easy on my vehicles either.
if anyone would break this its me.

No chain, Its got two eye ends. I did have a chain on there before which I strectched out pretty good over a six month period. It was a stout chain too. Got the point where I could nt tighten it anymore had to come up with something else. So its basically what you have now except with out the chain and mine mounts totally different. I also run two eyes. If you want I can post a pic or two.
