Well boys i pulled apart the TY today to replace both cometic head gaskets. Going to try to get it back together by saturday and to the trck for a test on tuesday. If all goes well i will be making it to Nats. Its going to be close. I havent registered yet but hopfully i can still get a room.

You'll have to get a room at one of the other hotels. The Marriot is all booked for the weekend. The other hotels are within walking distance though. :tup:

Well i have washed up the sy now all i have to do is fill it up with gas and load it up on the trailer

Since I dragged rusty out of the weeds, I need to do basic maintenance oil change air in the tires ect. Put in the new intercooler, throw in some torsion bar mounts, get an alignment, and build some body mounts.

Oh and we leave Wednesday I better get to work.

I have to put enough gas in the Typhoon to drive to Pope's house.....riding with him.

have to finish the trailer putting brakes on and repacking the wheel bearings with grease and put two more required lights on it

Upper ball joint has been replaced, knock sensor needs to be rechecked because I'm throwing a code 43 for it even though it is brand new. Time for cleaning and pulling off parts of a broken piece of cladding to be looked at.

Now I need to figure out why my knock sensor is either (A) Not the right one and replace it, or (B) Isn't reading properly and throwing code 43...fml

Im off work today. Its as done as its going to be mechanically. mounted my extra 17x9.5 wheel with an old tire for a spare, checked transfercase and diff fluids, and washed it yesterday. Today im going to wax it, vacuum the bedrug, clean interior, and get my tools & spare fluids packed. Tomorrow ill pack some clothes and be ready to leave.

Its a long drive but im confident the truck will make it without any problems :tup: see you guys there.

Replace it & get it right. Knock is VARY bad.

Hey AJ..I hope you used vinyl lines instead of PE lines....they get all gooey with underhood temps (ask me how I know).....

I have the Ty all loaded up...leaving@5AM EST. Should be there around noonish (barring HARMON luck)!
