Nats Prep- Whats your last minute syty projects to finish?

Looking at dave's thread and the stuff I have to get done Im just curious. Who else out there has stuff to fix on thier trucks and the deadline is to get it on or going by nats? Who will get it done, and who wont?

Me:
install fresh engine this week and make it driveable to load on the trailer. I have all the parts, so it should be fairly decent. Also would like to finsh LED dash lights, ECM mount/MSD mount, Different alky set up. and a base tune so it is decently driveable on code 59.

Lets hear them guys.

i dont have to do anything on my truck since its staying at home, but I do need to check over the coolant system on the BMW, plus start/finish all the custom trophies for the non-racing classes, oh yeah, and print up all the t-shirts

Pick up the trailer to haul it on. Maybe install the front propshaft?

Completely clean it, upper driver's side balljoint, knock sensor and a better cruise tune.

I'm in the Same basic situation as you Nall..... Engine is in... but still have intercooler pipes to re-make/paint and install FAST XFI and get running.
That's the very small simple way of putting it with out a page of details Lol.

Propshaft, install my upper intake, A2A Intercooler, power steering pump, wire up my electric fans, wideband O2, run code $59 and put my interior back together.

I also have a problem with my Down Pipe hitting my frame that I have to sort out as well, but hopefully I can resolve that at the exhaust shop on Monday.

hook up my intercooler pump, fix intercooler line, find my oil leak, install new transmission seal, finish putting my interior back in, wash, polish, wax and fill it up!

Swap the non-working trans with a working unit.
Some other misc cosmetic changes.

Lower the TBSS

Gotta pull the motor back out of the sy. See why my oil pressure went down to nuthin"bearings". Fix it. Then put it all back together.

Truck #1: 3 qt accusump, install an amp remove 3 others. Paint a hood and fender cladding, install.

Truck #2: Finish 4 link rear suspension, code59 tune, wideband install, bleed brakes.

Truck #3: Intercooler piping, vacuum lines run, upgrade drivers in ECM, tune, exhaust system.

This is fun.

I'll wash mine and spray some Armor All on the tires.

1/4 tank of gas I'm good.

Right now I am doing a detail job getting all the swirl marks off the paint. THen Gotta get an oil change done on the tow rig... other then that.... get some US cash then good to go.

Got the motor pulled back out. The crank and bearings are toasted. New ones should be here by wed. Hopefully have the sy back together by the end of next weekend.:rant:

Gotta get it inspected and renew my plates
maybe a wash and a wax
Got some new decals on the way when renzee gets back from vac.

Oh wait thats on my beater, but hey, thats what we're driving.
No Ty for us this year.

I have to wash and wax it. might put my other headliner in (starting to sag a little). Put air in tires and make sure the trailer is ready. Thats about it.

1. Wash and put a new coat of polish on her.
2. Load her up on the trailer.

naw going to hit 20 in madison and then 75 in atl and then 24 in chattnoga and then 65 in nashville. It is only about 6 hours half hours up ther.
