Re: Myclone is gone

i heard the story last night, i hate this, even though i only know him from the board, and the stories of Ryan Le vier, he is a person that will be missed.

on the board he was a Great person, helped alot of people, and always had good plans, threated everybody with respect. so that must mean he was a super good person IRL, i never had the chance to meet him, but shit.....i'll will mis him.

Re: Myclone is gone

I've only been on the board for about 2 years but I gotta say, I read everything he posted because it was either hilarious or informative. I may have never met him but I will miss his stories all the same. RIP :myclone:

Lisa

I met Dave at the Chicago Nationals and he left me with the impression that I had known him for a long time. A person that radiated friendship the first time you meet him. He always gave everyone of us respect and was quick to compliment us on things accomplished, big or small. I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. Our prayers are with you.

Re: Myclone is gone

I never met Myclone in person, but the way I knew him through this board portrayed him as a kind, helpful individual. My condolances go out to his family and friends, along with those whose lives he touched.

Wow... I don't check the boards for a day and there is a tradgedy. I offer my condolances and hope that you will come to us if there is anything you need.

I lost my wife in a car accident in 2001 at the age of 29. There are some great people that can help you with your grief. I know it took me quite a while to recover. Remember that there are people that are there to help you. Take time and spend it with your family. You will need it.

Take care

Re: Myclone is gone

I've been reading this post since yesterday morning, and I haven't been able to come up with the right words to post. I never met him, but he was always helpful to everyone and hilarious at the same time. My condolence to his family and friends.

Re: Myclone is gone

dennis told me on the phone today about this terrible event.
it's been a few years since i last spoke to MC, but he always gave me a laugh.
lisa, our sincere sympathy and condolences to you and your family and friends.
i'm sure you know given our regard for him if you need help with anything, post, and someone will come through.
i don't get here often anymore...as i read this thread from the beginning till this 14th page, seeing all the folks who've posted about this from "the old days" is a sad thing given the circumstances, but shows the good things the good folks here feel about him, and he will be sorely missed.
sincerely,
mike and karen

Re: Myclone is gone

while it is unfortunate i never had the opportunity to connect with David on a level many of you did, the loss is equally as hard to stomach as he was one of those guys who earned the respect of pretty much every syty guru and follower out there.

His comical and informative posts were second to none. Even a topic which i had no interest in hearing about, if myclone had something to say i would usually click and view his response.

On behalf of the entire syty community, I would personally like to thank Dave for giving us not only technical expertise and DIY advice, but inspiration to do what we love both as a profession and hobby.

He will be truely missed.

The crew at RPM would like to extend our deepest condolences and prayers during this difficult time to the family and those who knew Dave on a personal level.
