My 1992 Gmc Typhoon

Thanks for the compliments! I almost thought it was a aftermarket one but it fits perfect, i need to get the front wind deflector. I got my wheels and tires so hopefully i can get it on the road this week, i rebuilt the original power steering pump and "tested" it, it isnt leaking which is nice. i finally got my moates and tuner pro working so i can drive it around and make sure everything is happy.

Man I forgot these things came with the skid plate.

The Typhoon never had that plate on it stock.
That aluminum skid plate is for a S-series 4X4. It was one plate of 3 under the truck. Plus the pick-up skid plate package included a steel plate for the fuel tank.

The stock deal that is missing from almost all of these now was plastic that mounted between the intercooler rubber flap and the front crossmember. It curved up behind the front differential. I'm pretty sure it was to divert some of the radiator fan's airflow back forward and through the Lower Heat Exchanger in a reverse flow when the vehicle was stopped or at very low speed.

i was able to find a nos front deflector that i am going to hopefully install soon, i got the intercooler shroud painted and got the new pump installed. i need to align the front bumper then i can take it to have the paint taken care of. i got the wheels and center caps back from powdercoating. I ended up going with porsche silver, i had my 993 wheels done by the same powder coater so i knew what the results would look like and luckily they came out just like i wanted. The silver is definitely a bit darker then the stock sawblade color. Im also going to work on getting the chrome stripped off the stock wheels at some point.
