Just kidding, it will be OK anytime you take on a project of this magnitude it never goes perfect or even close to perfect. Trust me when that baby is purring like a cheetah on cocaine you'll be glad you went through all this.
We need info though What doesnt fit right so maybe we can help you walk through this.

update - today i bolted on my headers and turbo. found out i'm missing a few fitting for my new turbo and still having fitmit problems with my new steering shaft. i just never ends. i'm getting so frustrated about this whole ordeal, that i thinking of selling it when i finish and taking a huge loss cuz i want out.

Dont give up! Its just baby steps till the end from here. Its ok to be frustrated, I get frustrated when I open my garage and see my Ty in there all crippled up. Then I just think about how much fun it will be when its done and I get all happy again. But anyhow dont quit on it yet.

steering shaft hits header, then i bolted up my PTE downpipe and 2nd piece hits the frame and won't even slide onto the first piece. i spoke to mike @ RPM and we talked about everything, sent him pics, took measurements, and pretty much came to the conclusion that the motor mounts and frame pads are making the motor sit to low, so i'm having him send me his motor mounts and frame pads(i have the other guys stuff), since i'm the only one thats having fitment issues with his new headers. they are great pieces of work, i'm trying not to get frustrated but its so hard, when you know you have to pull the motor out/up again. i really don't want to sell it, cuz i love it, but right now i hate it. i needed to vent cuz its been over a month waiting for parts, i'm sick and tired of being stroked

I do understand being frustrated. Just thought I would let you know that I have got your back on this for support. If I lived closer I would help you out more. Just think about the end result.

Whoa man, waiting on parts and then getting ones that don't work totally blows. If you can't make the party with the truck, there's not too much of a hurry a suppose. You'll enjoy doing it more and do a better job if you take some time. Don't let yourself hate it too much, and after all this, definitely don't get out. Your trucks gonna be baaaaddd. You better make your way out to Toms in old Blue so you can get some encouragement.

things that bother me right now:

-truck is at dads shop, taking up space. he needs the rack to work on cars but me ty sits there
-was told certain parts would work with other parts, which don't
-due to the above i spent more money on this stupid truck
-now i have to start back at sqaure one
-new parts i get are missing parts
-the new parts i get, i'm not told what else i need to get to make these work
-due to the above, i find out what i need later on then have to wait longer
-truck is still at my dads shop, sitting collecting dust
-huge amount of credit card debt
-should have never bought the ty

Now nock this crap off right now Branden, dont make me come down there, ohh wait I am, in 2 days matter of fact. We all know your discouraged, trust me we have been there, but just think about when you do that first boostlaunch and have a hudge permagrin that wont go away no matter how hard you try, these assnine thoughts of selling your pride and joy, which you had wet dreams about all through your teenage years will be all but forgotten. Remember, IF IT WAS EASY OR CHEAP EVERYONE WOULD DO IT!!!!!!!!!

You truck is coming along great - don't give up. I've taken my project apart and together at least 50 times over the past 3 years.

The good news is i can put the entire running gear on the truck in about 2 hours.

PS - Waiting for parts my front brakes to 6months and lets not even talk about the rears. It's just part of the game.

Re: Moving forward - pics added

did you install spacers on those solid motormounts? i had some issues, and i used the spacers that come with the polymounts, cause my engine was also sitting a bit to low.

Re: Moving forward - pics added

those moroso poly mounts come with those polymounts, and some kind of heatsheild/spacer.
when you bolt the polymount on, this "spacer" sits between the block and the poly mount, these "spacers are about 0,3 of an inch thick, and this will help you quite some bit to raise up the engine.

Re: Moving forward - pics added

to the best of my understanding, he is using solid engine mounts (spacers only come with poly engine mounts), and was told he was given moroso solid mounts # 62500 which have a install height of 1 11/16", however upon measuring them he is getting closer to 1.25" which is .5" too short and the reason for both the headers and downpipe not to fit.

hang in there brandon.. sometimes you have to just sit back and take a deep breath and realize that unfortunately this is par for the course with these trucks. Be lucky you dont work on them for a living :)

Re: Moving forward - pics added

i am using solid mounts also, but i had to use the spacers of those poly mounts to get everything ligned up
