Actually, the red tire Ty's are the "Lightning Strike" variations per Tom Z of JL. That's a separate special edition besides the White Lightnings. Within the same Musclecars 20 release, the Monte's also have a Lightning Strike version, but the Torino and GS do not.

This isn't my picture... I don't have either of these (yet):

The single Ty I ordered it getting glued to the TB "hat" on the engine in the Blazer. Give that f'er some incentive to go fast hahaha

By the way guys... word from JL:

The next release of the Typhoon will have the roof rack. I will probably split the production 50/50 on it and might just try to do a hard and soft wheel.

The Lightning Strikes are 1% of the production run and yes you can get a White Lightning and Lightning Strike in the same case. The White Lightnings in MC20 have a white chassis and white engine. There are two different Lightning Strikes in MC20 as well, one on the Monte Carlo SS and one on the Typhoon.

I actually haven't even seen a picture of the white engine/white base Typhoon White Lightning yet... it should be interesting to see when they appear.

So what are you guys paying for these??? I see what they've sold for on ebay but what about the various websites?

I just bought 4 from some dude on Ebay, 1 loose for $2.99, 3 in package for $3.95 plus $6 shipping to Canada

I got a floor jack today for the Ty I took out of the package. It was in some other companies package with a convertible 1967 Coronet R/T Convertible.

I've checked the Wal-Marts around me and none of them had any. At all. One Walgreens had the big JL's.

Here's the jack I got, now under the JL Ty.

The stuff under the tire is clear silicone to keep it from moving. I still need to trim it with the exact-o knife.

Target had one JL.... clearly not the Ty. :rant:

Time to check Walgreens, since there's only 6,000 of them in Greeley. :lol:

May just have to break down and fleabay a couple.
