I Have check all of the following near me up to 30 miles away and none of them carry Johnny Lightning.

Walmart

Toys R Us

Kmart

Players

Rite Aid

They all have Hot Wheels, Matchbox and some other ?& "":<<:rant: type Trash.

The Walmart near me has JL stuff.. I will have to make the trip up there next time the wife goes.. I really hate that place though. Always packed with people I usually try to avoid.. I dont want their no teeth and smell to rub off on me.. lol

And.....I hold mine in my hands right now.

The art on the card is horrid on how badly its drawn....and the motor is crocked. Just to be fair, all the cards in the package are horrible as well. Casting on the wheels suck too. :2cents:

At least theres now a typhoon available. Hopefully they make better color combos.

Just bought four from Milezone.com. When they come in I'm tearing one apart to swap wheels with a Syclone I've got loose, and see how close I can match my blue. This should be fun.

Just went to K Mart and they had some JL stuff but no TY's... A friends mother is the manager there so I will ask him to have her order me some...

Yeah, you probably did. I think they went pretty fast, and I ordered 10 more singles Saturday night to put them under 14 left. When I first saw them on Thursday night they had more than 70 available.

My pre-order shipment showed up today:

I've already opened one of the Ty's and the casting is lightyears ahead of the old Syclone casting. The seperate engine and the more accurate grille/front bumper/headlight combination is the biggest improvement. The taillights actually look accurate, and the rear window hinges are even present. Unfortunately it seems to be a slightly smaller scale than the Sy's. The wheels aren't great, but they are definately closer to our real stock wheels than anything JL ever put on the Syclone.
