Well Im sorry that you disagree, and dispite you saying you arent taking sides on this matter, you obviously are. I dont know what exactly you are reading, but in my previous comment I never once made any snyde remarks or bad comments directed towards you. Sure, I probably just just said them in general statements, but how I talk is pretty much how I type, all I can say is deal with it.

Im sorry the responce of "This forum is not a democracy", but its the truth. If you cannot handle it well.... I dont really know what to tell ya. As far as silencing me... I'm not quite sure what you even mean by that, but I too will not try and silence you either and as far as " I am talking about ALL OF US! And now I know where WE ALL STAND AS FAR AS YOUR OUTLOOK.", Dont start putting your opinion forward as if to think everyone on this forum agrees is or backs you, because that isnt going to be the case, infact I believe I already read one post in this thread that doesnt agree with that.

In reguards to banning being the "easy way out", youre absolutely right. I have better things to do than to waste my time going back and forth with someone who obviously didnt care or couldnt take the time to perhaps contact me or another Admin first about this subject to try and get some REAL answers before casting accusations at everyone. For the record though, many of the moderators sent him PMs asking him to cut it out and trying figure out what exactly his beef was. I too sent him a PM prior to banning asking him why I should even consider keeping him on here after his actions on both forums and give him till the following do to reply..... he never did. I also sent him an e-mail afterwards which I also never got a reply to.

How much effort am I to put forth with someone who clearly doesnt really care what really happens here, someone who ran off before to make his own forum (which has a whole 27 registered users now since he keeps deleting everyone) and was always one to bash syty.net, rather than trying to help make it better and correct the problems it previously had.

So have fun ignoring me in the future, because that is REALLY grown up of you and since I know you will no longer read anything I have to say, I no longer have to respond to this subject and it can finally be put to rest and forgotten about.

heck recently a thread with pics of my new build had postes get deleted cause mods didnt like what others were saying. it was kinda funny to me casue i never made a single post into the thread but they all started to argue. i guess it came down to the mods acting like.

Ed, are you talking about the thread in which Mike posted pics of your new goodies??

The posts that were removed had nothing to do with you or your truck, they were nothing more than Mike and Waller going back and forth at each other for whatever reason. I wasnt the one to clean up the thread, but I think its quite clear that the "argument" had gotten quite off topic and really didnt belong in the thread which was originally about your truck, am I wrong here?

In an attempt to save you some grief and wasted time, you really should let this issue die. Primary reason is that it doesn't directly affect you and subsequent reason is that you don't possess ALL the facts to make a rational argument. I've been right where you are so I am just trying to be a help...not inflame the matter more. There are a couple moderators that enforce rules they themselves choose to break when it is convenient BUT Morgan isn't one of them to my knowledge. Furthermore, emails can be sooo misinterpreted. At the onset of me joining this site, Morgan and I (in others opinion) were anticipated to come to blows when/if we ever met because we both say what we feel. He is a very stand-up guy and super cool in person. Said all that to say this, don't ruin a friendship early on over this tedious site content. Over time, you'll observe the ones that haven't matured as an adult yet but don't write them off completely as they do know SyTy business and can be an invaluable help when needed. Let HuRyde (sp ?) fight his own war he started long before you and I joined this site.

FYI Jimmy's poll had nothing to do with his banning, though it did raise some points that people are sick of his crap or they sick of the HS type of drama created.

IMO It takes a lot to be banned.

Very well put. Everyone can play tough guy on the internet, but when it comes to having a discussion face to face things change. Many people use SyTy.net to vent on issues with vendors, members, ect....simply because it is easier to type than to look someone in the eye and tell them your beef, and things can get misinterpreted VERY easily.

James, no offense, but you are fairly new to the community...and a lot has happened throughout the history of this board (banning, vendor affairs, bashing ect). We try our best to keep the peace, and keep the information flowing without a bunch of BS floating around all the time. After all this is about the trucks. :tup:

Some people call the mods/admins evil, mean, bad, etc.? I personally bet you all that there isn't a one of us who wouldn't help others who needed it! If I didn't like a member of the bb and saw him on the side of the road, I'd pull over to help him. I think that the bigger picture is more important. Just like some people think that Morgan and others are the anit-Christ thats just not true. You don't believe me then quit griping on here and show up to a local meet or Nats! For Sy/Ty's to be outcast trucks, they sure do have owners who have the most character of any auto club that I know.

I mean I helped out a guy in NJ who wanted a truck in TX and he ended up buying it and NJ is the most evil state in the Union :lol:

Hu Ryde essenitally hasn't been an asset to the forum since syty-tech started. I am not saying he isn't a source of information, but he has very limited posting since since 2003. IMO He lost 9 or 10 valuable assets to his forum when he banned the syty admin& staff for no reason other than the discussion on syty.net. Despite his attacks on us and his claim of sweeping problems under the rug to appease the vendors, I feel that we handled him fairly. (I actually thought this was going to pass and the situation was settling down.)

The breaking point being his banning of all of us due a personal vendetta because of the discussion on syty.net. I as other staff don't like being banned unfairly because Jesse is upset that his friends ideas was suposedly stolen and we (syty net staff) won't do a witch hunt and ban vendors.

If we lost a valuable asset, then we lost it a long time ago when he walked off and basically said a big F*CK YOU to syty.net and started up his own forum.

Infact up until this March when we upgraded syty.net, he hadn't even been on this forum for any significant amount of time prior to that. He made 2 posts the month before in the drivetrain forum, but to find his next previous significant SyTy related post you have to go back 4 months where he posted something about the SyTy Nats logos, infact since January 2004, he only made 1 or 2 posts A MONTH, and most of those were about pictures, logos or off topic posts, not technical posts. So considering its now almost January 2006, just by looking through old posts its clear that Jesse hasn't been a valuable asset on syty.net in about 2 years now.
