How to adjust the wipers?

There are two possibilities on that one.... one the wiper motor itself has a problem with the park circuit or #2, the wiper switch in the steering column is defective and needs replacing... I will post/send you an email concerning how to determine which one is bad in a little while... I have to reload that software back on this computer... you only need a test light to check it.

My old nissan 240sx did that.Wipers and washer turned on and wouldnt stop.Pulled the fuse temporarly. The wipers on that car worked on a ground system.Turns out a wire going through the fire wall was scraped bare and grounding out.VERY costly for the dealer to find this.

Actually there is three, I forgot about the pulse module for the delay mode but I have never had to change one of those, at least for a 93 or earlier s-series... a shitload of 88 up fulsize and 94 up s-series.... OK, turn the key on and wiper switch off. Unplug the connector on the wiper motor. The white wire only, should have battery voltage on it. If the gray or purple wire have battery voltage on it, then the switch is shorted out in the steering column. If the purple or gray wires have no power on them, plug it back up... if the wiper motor runs, then either the delay module, or the park switch is stuck closed inside the housing. The gray wire is for low speed and the purple wire is for high speed. I hope this helps... pm me if you need anything else.
