Be thankful I am not like some others on here or this information would cost you at least $100 :). Try: customrestor@earthlink.net and his name is John Parson's. Real pleasant fellow....

I hope he is so mine (and others) will sky-rocket in value. If he wants to dip them all in chrome and put them on display along the interstate, who cares. Once he seals a deal, it is his property.

Not everybody on planet earth is as greedy as you so you need to think out of the box on this issue. He might well appreciate the offers he gets now that his email address is public. If me releasing his email address upsets him, he can change it. Bottom line is I didn't screw other forum members out of selling some un-needed parts to someone who obviously has an interest in buying them by witholding public information AND to boot, I didn't try to milk money out of anyone for the requested information. That is where you and I differ. If that gets your pancakes warm, so be it!

Im not greedy im asking to be compensated for my time, you fail to realize it was a weened trip to look at the vehicles, hotel food gas plus my time lost, if Im not supposed to charge for that I guess im wrong? Information is one of the most valuable things out there if you give it away great, thats your foolish decisions. Im sure you buy information every day

speaking for myself, and maybe a few others, if the 2 of you want to have a pissing match, do it on your own time, own thread, via pm, on the phone or in each others front yard. i dont really care....i dont think that you are ever going to see eye to eye, and thats fine, however i dont want to go into every thread and see the same crap that i have been reading for the last couple of days...sorry just my $.02

changing ones email address is not as easy as one thinks.. especially if an Ebay account is associated with it.

Thanks, email sent.

I changed my email a few years ago, and it didn't seem too hard. I had to change it on all of the forums I'm on, ebay, paypal, and a few others, then I just sent an email to everyone in my address book saying what my new addy was.

Re: Hogging the market on ebay

For the heck of it, I am going to e-mail him and tell him about Tom's red truck for sale....you never know what he might give? However, it would be nice to keep the trucks within the family....wait...is he part of the family yet?

Re: Hogging the market on ebay

I am keeping an eye on these three auctions that have ended recently to see if customrestore earns a feedback rating:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GMC-...ategoryZ6248QQihZ003QQitemZ130039279998QQrdZ1

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GMC-...ategoryZ6248QQihZ004QQitemZ140044950319QQrdZ1

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GMC-...ategoryZ6251QQihZ013QQitemZ230042290823QQrdZ1

He is leading in this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GMC-...ategoryZ6251QQihZ012QQitemZ220041308176QQrdZ1

I know he has purchased some vehicles on ebay....just wanted to follow along with the recent purchases. I am sure he may be a good guy. But his tactics of bidding on everything are different. Oh, he never e-mailed me back over the red truck. No worries.

Re: Hogging the market on ebay

Nice transition Marty!!! I am sure many want to know about this gal!!

I agree this thread has reached a near max. Without knowing the guy, none of us can pass judgement for him to be a bad guy. But, while he is buying some parts and following through with purchases, the sticking point is the hassle of sales he is winning and not following through with. I guess this is where feedback comes in!

Thanks for your comments blkls2. Welcome to the board. But, for future reference, if you do not want to talk about this or prefer to talk about women/cars, visit other threads that do not talk about ebay specific ads and certain bidders. I am just interested to see what happens in the sales mentioned earlier. Now that I have beaten the dead-horse more, I will let Marty chat about this new woman!!! :)
