Has anyone tried the ATR aluminum driveshaft?

I've got the tranny ruled out as the cause of my vibration(FINALLY got it running decent). I only get vibration on heavy accelleration now or when the truck is under some kind of load, like going up a hill. The rear driveshaft has over 130K of hard miles on it(almost everything I have worked on needed welding or replacing due to damage from a dickhead prev owner) on it and I know the front prop isn't doing it(I've had it out already). As easy as it is to pop it out, it would be an easy thing to try. Just didn't want to waste money on the aluminum shaft if they are problematic or weak.

I have a question on your time for the 1/4. Do you have any idea how the time vs mph came out that way?
I ran a 13.2 at 99.8mph at Kilkare here in Ohio. Can't figure out why your time was so high with that kind of mph. Was it that bad of a launch?

Yup just like it says in my signature, I had a BAD 60' time - 2.063 OUCH :oops: ! But, I wasn't alone. Ten of us rented a track in Beaver Springs, PA for four hours (5 syclones and 5 typhoons). Everyone who had timeslips from their previous trip to the track was giving up .2 a second on their 60 footers too. It's pretty embarrassing to have a ET that slow with a trap speed in the triple digits. There are several folks on here who haven't broken a 100 MPH and their ET's are .3-.5 seconds faster than mine :( . I hope to get to a better track (one that isn't slightly up hill with the finish 13 feet above the start) this year and make a respectable pass. FWIW, last year was my first time to a track EVER. Just because I have had a driver's license for almost 14 years doesn't mean that I *know* how to drive either :wink: ...
